The short version
- Healthy Everyday shares my recipes, ways of eating, gentle movement, meditations and life lessons as general information and education. It isn’t medical, dietary, mental health or financial advice, and it doesn’t replace your own doctor or health professional.
- You know your body best. You’re responsible for your own choices, and I’d love you to check in with your health professional before making big changes, especially if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have a health condition, have allergies or take medication.
- Food safety matters. Check every ingredient against your own allergies, take extra care with raw foods, and take advice before giving new foods to babies and young children.
- Move gently and stop if anything hurts.
- Peace of Mind is for everyday calm. It isn’t a crisis service. If you’re struggling, please reach out to a health professional or a local support service, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.
- Everyone is different, so results vary and nothing is guaranteed.

1.General information only
All content on Healthy Everyday, including recipes, meal ideas, the Nourish reset, Ways of Eating, the Fasting guide, Move, guided meditations, Peace of Mind, guides, videos, emails, printables, community posts and anything said in a live session ("the content"), is general information and education. It is not medical, dietary, nutritional, psychological, fitness or financial advice, and it is not tailored to you. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
2.No professional relationship
Using Healthy Everyday, joining the community or contacting us does not create a doctor–patient, dietitian–client, therapist–client, financial adviser–client or any other professional relationship. Pete Evans is a chef and author, not a medical doctor, dietitian or licensed financial adviser. Guest contributors share their own views.
3.Check in with your health professional
Always talk to a qualified health professional before changing the way you eat, exercise or take supplements, and before stopping, starting or changing any medication. This matters most if you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding; are under 18; are elderly or frail; have a medical or mental health condition (including diabetes, heart, kidney, liver or digestive conditions, or a history of disordered eating); have allergies or intolerances; or take any medication. Never ignore professional advice, or delay getting it, because of something you read or watched here. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number straight away.
4.Food, allergies and food safety
- Allergies and intolerances. Recipes may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including nuts, seeds, eggs, dairy, fish, shellfish, sesame and soy. Allergen notes and labels such as "gluten free" are a guide only and may not be complete. Always read the labels on the products you buy, check every ingredient against your own needs and, if in doubt, leave it out.
- Raw and lightly cooked foods. Some recipes use raw or lightly cooked meat, fish, eggs, offal, fermented foods or raw dairy. These carry a higher risk of foodborne illness and are not recommended for anyone pregnant, very young, elderly or with a weakened immune system. Buy from suppliers you trust and follow safe handling, storage and cooking practices.
- Babies and children. Recipes for babies and children are general ideas only. Babies and young children have special nutritional needs and choking risks. Talk to your health professional before introducing new foods, and before using any homemade formula, broth, herbal drink or remedy. Never give honey to a baby under 12 months. Always supervise children while they eat and in the kitchen.
- Herbs, supplements and remedies. Some recipes include herbs, teas, activated charcoal, supplements or traditional remedies. These can be unsuitable in pregnancy, while breastfeeding or for children, and can interact with medication. Check with your health professional first.
- Kitchen safety. Cooking involves knives, heat, hot oil, pressure cookers and other equipment. Use them carefully and follow the maker’s instructions.
5.Ways of Eating
Ways of Eating (for example Carnivorous, AIP, Keto, Paleo and Ancestral, Plant based, High protein and Low oxalate) describes approaches some people choose. It is not a prescription or a treatment plan. Some approaches can affect blood sugar, blood pressure, kidney function, mineral levels or how medication works. Please make changes with the support of your health professional, especially if you take medication.
The Fasting guide explains what different types of fasting are. It is not a recommendation to fast. Fasting is not suitable for babies, children or teenagers, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for anyone who has had an eating disorder, or for anyone who is underweight. If you have diabetes, take medication (especially medicine that lowers blood sugar or blood pressure), are older, or have a kidney, liver or heart condition, do not fast without your doctor’s advice. Dry fasting (no food or water) is not recommended. Stop and seek help if you feel dizzy, faint, confused or unwell.
6.Move and exercise
Physical activity carries a risk of injury. Move at your own pace, warm up, and stop straight away if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath, and seek medical help if it doesn’t settle. Check with your health professional before starting if you have a health condition, an injury, are pregnant or haven’t been active for a while. You take part in any movement voluntarily and at your own risk.
7.Meditation, Peace of Mind and mental health
Guided meditations, breathing exercises and Peace of Mind content are for everyday relaxation and wellbeing. They are not therapy or treatment, and Healthy Everyday is not a crisis or emergency service. Don’t listen to meditations while driving or operating machinery. If you’re struggling, please reach out to a health professional or a local support service. If you’re thinking about harming yourself, or someone is in danger, call your local emergency number now.
8.Results vary
Everyone’s body, health and circumstances are different. Any stories, testimonials or examples are individual experiences, not typical or guaranteed results. We make no promise that you will lose weight, gain health, feel a particular way or achieve any outcome.
9.Your responsibility and assumption of risk
You decide what to cook, eat, drink, do and try. By using Healthy Everyday you accept that you do so voluntarily and at your own risk, and that you are responsible for your own health, safety and choices, and for those of anyone in your care.
10.Accuracy and third-party links
We work hard to keep content accurate and up to date, but information changes and mistakes happen, so we can’t guarantee that content is complete, accurate or current. Links to other websites, products or services are for convenience only. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, products or practices. Where liability can’t be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the content or your breach of this disclaimer or the Terms of Use. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes rights you have under consumer laws that can’t be excluded.
12.Governing law

We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The version number and date at the top show the latest version. If we make an important change we’ll let members know, and we may ask you to accept it again. Continuing to use Healthy Everyday after a change means you accept the updated version.
